Welcome to First 5 Amador!
Our mission is to promote, support, and enhance the optimal development of Amador County's children from
zero to five years of age. Our Commission believes that broad community involvement is critical to the success
of this mission. With Proposition 10 funds we support projects that make sense locally based on identified needs and opportunities for children and families in Amador County.

Are you curious about your child's development?
The Ages & Stages Questionnaires is a tool to make sure you are "on track" in development.
Each one can be completed in 10-20 minutes, and is divided by: Communication, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Problem Solving, and Personal-Social.
The benefit is so that parents/caregivers know which areas they can focus on at home with their children.
